Meet Guest Chef Arnie Gonzales, Co-Founder & Co-Executive Chef, Travieso Latin Fusion

Milwaukee native Arnie Gonzales fell in love with cooking at an early age, watching his mother run a catering business throughout his childhood. His culinary journey began with a dishwashing job at The Milwaukee Steakhouse, where he quickly worked his way up to Sous Chef.

Under the mentorship of Chef Peggy Manchester at Crazy Water, Arnie refined his skills, preparing him for his role as Executive Chef at Black Sheep when it opened. His passion for high-quality cuisine led him to catering, where he served as the Executive Catering Chef at the Milwaukee Art Museum, The Bartolotta’s Group, and The Ambassador Hotel.
